An excellent book on the 25 year history (1970-1995), of Music, Dance, Theater and Cinema from all over India, written by dozens of experts, with dozen board members. It covers all of the provinces, is in 2 volumes, has more than 700 pages. Ravi Shankar, B D Garg and Snajit Narwekar are contributors, among others.
It pains me to report that they put a photo of a person definitely not K L Saigal and labeled it as such. Amazing that so many qualified people could not see that. The writer of this particular article was born in 1918, must have seen at least one photo of Saigal somewhere.
